history

This absolute top cuvee with the clear signature of the winemaker - 'Elegance over Power' - is only produced in the very best years. Based on the exceptional and late-ripening red grape variety Mourvedre, Syrah, Pinotage and Cabernet Franc have been forming the corset for this particularly expressive, precise and elegant red wine since the first vintage in 2006, which impressively reflects the origin of its individual components.

taste description

This multi-layered and complex wine is named after the 250-year-old water mill located on the winery, the "Vitruvian Mill" on the one hand, and Leonardo da Vinci's world-famous drawing of the "Vitruvian Man" on the other hand, which shows a perfect harmony of the proportions of the individual components , just like a harmonious red wine cuvée. Fermented spontaneously and aged in French oak for 36 months, 35% new wood, 2,700 bottles.
